3. Enquiries and Quotations
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not create a booking.
All quotations:
- are subject to availability
- are non-binding until confirmed in writing
- may be revised if event details change
- may include estimated costs until final guest numbers are confirmed
4. Bookings
A booking is only confirmed when:
- we have accepted your booking in writing;
- any required deposit has been received; and
- both parties have agreed the event details.
Until then, availability cannot be guaranteed.
5. Prices
Unless otherwise stated:
- all prices are in Pounds Sterling (£);
- VAT will be applied where applicable;
- delivery, staffing, equipment hire, venue costs or specialist services may be charged separately.
Prices may change where:
- guest numbers change;
- timings change;
- venue access changes;
- additional services are requested;
- supplier costs increase significantly before the event.
6. Payment
Payment terms will be specified on your quotation or invoice.
Unless agreed otherwise:
- deposits are non-refundable;
- final balances must be paid before the event date.
Late payments may result in cancellation of services or additional charges.
7. Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed by the date stated on your quotation.
If guest numbers increase after this date, we will do our best to accommodate them but cannot guarantee availability.
If guest numbers decrease after confirmation, charges may still apply based on the agreed minimum numbers.
8. Dietary Requirements and Allergens
We take allergens seriously and prepare food with care.
However:
- our kitchens handle multiple allergens;
- we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment;
- clients are responsible for notifying us of dietary requirements before the agreed deadline.
Failure to provide accurate information may limit the options we can offer.
9. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring:
- suitable venue access;
- appropriate kitchen facilities where required;
- adequate utilities (water, electricity etc.);
- any necessary venue permissions;
- safe working conditions for our staff.
10. Cancellation
Cancellation charges may apply depending on how close to the event date the cancellation occurs.
Deposits are generally non-refundable.
Where external suppliers have already been booked, their cancellation terms may also apply.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- severe weather;
- fire;
- flooding;
- transport disruption;
- strikes;
- government restrictions;
- pandemics;
- acts of terrorism.
Where possible, both parties will work together to rearrange the event.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including:
- photographs;
- branding;
- logos;
- graphics;
- menus;
- written content;
remains the intellectual property of Ruffled Truffle Catering unless otherwise stated.
No material may be copied or reproduced without prior written permission.
13. Privacy
Personal information submitted through this website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
